Savannah Chrisley ‘Devastated Beyond Words’ After Charlie Kirk’s Death
Savannah Chrisley is mourning the loss of a close personal friend — someone she credits with helping her through some of the darkest moments in her life.
On Wednesday, September 10, conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was tragically killed while speaking at Utah Valley University, where he was kicking off his national college speaking tour. He was 31 years old.
The shocking incident occurred during a live debate, and as of publishing, the suspect has not yet been apprehended, and authorities are continuing their search. Kirk leaves behind his wife, former beauty queen Erika Frantzve, and their two young children — a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.
The TV personality, best known for appearing on Chrisley Knows Best, addressed Kirk’s death in a tearful video posted to TikTok just hours after the news broke.
“[He was] someone who gave me a voice as a woman,” she said in the emotional clip. “Made me feel like I had the power to show up in this world.”
Chrisley, 28, shared that she and Kirk had recently planned to travel together for his “American Comeback Tour,” a multi-campus speaking series aimed at engaging college students across the country.
“I was supposed to be sitting next to Charlie every weekend in October,” she said, visibly shaken. “Now I’m sitting here with a broken heart.”
While many knew Kirk as a prominent conservative figure, Chrisley spoke about him as a trusted confidant, someone who was there when few others were.
In the caption of her post, Chrisley expanded on their friendship, revealing how Kirk supported her family during difficult times.
“[Kirk] believed in me and in my family when the world turned its back. He saw potential, he spoke life into us, and he reminded me that God still had a plan even when I couldn’t see it myself.”
Chrisley added, “That kind of belief changes you forever.”
