EastEnders confirms another worrying Oscar Branning twist after affair reveal
EastEnders has revealed another concerning twist regarding Oscar Branning, as he has some bad news for his two romantic interests, Jasmine Fisher and Josh Goodwin, next week.
Oscar has been in a relationship with Jasmine, but was secretly seeing her twin brother Josh until a dramatic turn of events in this week’s episodes, with Kat Moon catching them kissing.
She angrily confronted the pair the following day, but wanted to keep the devastating secret from Jasmine until after her birthday meal at The Vic. However, the guilt got too much for Josh, and he confessed all to both Jasmine and the entire Slater family.

Jasmine was completely devastated in the aftermath of the shock admission, while Josh used the opportunity to suggest to Oscar that they could be together properly now that everything was out in the open.
But Oscar took Cindy’s advice to take accountability for his mistakes, so when Jasmine offered him a second chance, he turned her down. He then told Josh that they shouldn’t see each other anymore, not wanting to stand in the way of his bond with his sister.
But the trio are unexpectedly brought back together next week, when Oscar gets the worrying news that he may have caught a sexually transmitted infection from a previous fling.
Oscar is forced to tell Jasmine and Josh that he may have transmitted the infection to them both, and they all head to get tests together. Things remains very tense, though, as Jasmine continues to ignore her brother.
Later, Oscar is relieved to discover that his STI test is clear, but will the worrying turn of events change anything in terms of his relationships with the twins?
Elsewhere next week, Ian Beale continues to struggle as he faces prison after causing a tragic car accident while over the limit.
Things get worse when Chelsea takes action and reports him to the council, which leads to him being suspended as a councillor while an investigation takes place.
His mother Kathy attempts to comfort him as he comes to terms with this big life change, but as Jordan is left with a potentially permanent spinal injury, will Ian be punished accordingly?
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
