First Forrester… now Vo? With a bloodbath ahead in the FBI: International‘s fall finale, fans are worried that Fly Team could be losing another member — this time, to death — less than a year after former leader Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank)’s mysterious exit.

FBI: International sparked concern over Vo’s death in the promo for the Season 4 fall finale, “You’ll Never See It Coming,” which saw her get shot while she and the rest of the International Fly Team escorted a criminal accused of killing Supervisory Special Agent Wes Mitchell (Jesse Lee Soffer)’s partner. “Cam!” Wes shouted as Vo was taken down in the crossfire. “Hope Vo will be ok,” a user commented on a YouTube video of the promo. Another commenter wrote, “OMG NOOO 😢😢😢 Vo 😪 she gets hurt???? I hope she doesn’t die 😪🙏❤” One more user wrote, “They better not kill vo bruh.”

Cameron Vo on FBI: International

So… will Vo die on FBI: International? At the time of writing, there’s been no confirmation that Vo nor actress Vanessa Vidotto, who has played the special agent since Season 1, are leaving FBI: International. Fans also speculate that Vo will survive because of Mitchell’s reaction to her getting shot, which viewers believe will be the introduction of a romantic relationship between the two Fly Team members. “Wes LOVES Cameron so she’ll be defo okay! Especially when Hailey got hit by the explosion, he was holding her hand and everything. So, CAM WILL BE FINE!!” a user wrote on the YouTube promo of the episode. Another user commented, “The way he yelled ‘CAM’ instead of saying Vo or Cameron…” One more user wrote, “Am I the only one who is shipping Vo and Mitchell? I see a spark between them 😍”

FBI: International first sparked speculation of a romance between Mitchell and Vo in Season 4, Episode 5, “The Future’s Looking Bright,” which saw the special agents match on a dating, which Special Agent Andre Raines convinced Mitchell to join. “I need to adjust my age settings,” Mitchell joked, to which Vo responded by telling him that he needed to “tone down all the golf talk” on his profile.

While Vidotto previously told TV Insider in March 2024 that she didn’t want Vo to date the Fly Team’s former leader, Scott Forrester, following his split with Special Agent Heidi Reed in Season 3, things could be different between Vo and the Fly Team’s new head, Mitchell.

I love [about] the dynamic [between Vo and Forrester] is bouncing ideas off each other and one person reining the other person in. This job is very stressful, and you’ve got to make calls and some of them are risky and very creative or out of the box and you don’t know if it’s guaranteed, but you have to make a decision and go with it. I love that dynamic,” Vidotto told TV Insider about how she wanted Vo and Forrester’s working relationship to stay the same.

Still, if Vo and Mitchell are to become a thing, Soffer suggested that the special agents’ romance could be more of a slow burn because of Mitchell’s focus on his work as the Fly Team’s newest member.

“Right now, Wes is definitely focused on work, I can tell you that. Your guess is as good as mine,” he told Parade in October 2024 when asked whether there were any romantic storylines in store for Mitchell.

Soffer also explained why Mitchell’s past relationships with non-law enforcement officers didn’t work, which could provide another clue about his speculated romance with Vo. “I think he loves his job, and I think that law enforcement’s hard. It’s long hours and you’re married to your work, and I think that’s caused problems with him in relationships in the past. I think after his friend gets shot in the first episode, he’s kind of just got blinders on, focused on work, at least for the time being,” he said.
