Coronation Street to unmask secret Theo witness in special flashback scenes
Coronation Street airs another set of tense flashback scenes next week, as the mystery over Theo Silverton’s death takes further twists.
The focus of the storyline moves to a secret witness, who could have crucial information to share about what happened on the night of Theo’s demise.
The big episode in question is screened on Friday 29 May, but many of the details are being kept under wraps at this stage.
An official synopsis teases: “Tensions run high as one witness lies to the police about their movements on the night of the murder.
“A dark secret is finally revealed through a series of flashbacks, showing exactly what this person saw and did, and the complex web of guilt and fear that has led to them concealing the truth.”

For now, we’re being kept in the dark about who this mysterious witness is, what they spotted on the night of the murder, and why they’re keeping quiet over information that could impact the case.
As DS Connor-Swain continues to investigate, will she find out what’s being kept from her? Or will it just be viewers who are let in on the secret?
Corrie‘s ongoing murder mystery has so far largely focused on Todd Grimshaw, George Shuttleworth, Gary Windass and Summer Spellman as potential suspects.
Tonight’s episode sees Christina Boyd caught out over a lie regarding her whereabouts on the night of Theo’s death, while Theo’s ex-wife Danielle has also been named as a possible contender.
The story has several more weeks still to go, as Corrie bosses won’t reveal the killer until early summer.
Show producer Kate Brooks recently explained: “We reveal to the audience who it is during late June/early July.
“There’s lots of people who you’ll definitely think it could be. It’s a massive story with so many different twists and different offshoots.
“You’ll think you’re watching one thing, and then it diverts into a completely new story territory. It’ll definitely keep people guessing!”
