Coronation Street star Olivia Frances Brown splits from 007 hopeful fiancé less than a year after getting engaged

SHE crashed onto the cobbles back in January during a dramatic Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover episode.

Since then, Olivia Frances Brown’s erratic character, Jodie Ramsay, has kept Weatherfield residents on their toes.

But sadly, it seems real-life drama has followed her home.

I can reveal the actress has split from her fiancé, fellow actor James Nelson-Joyce.

They also appear to have scrubbed all traces of one another from their profiles, including their loved-up engagement snaps.

A source said: “It’s finished. They were a rock-solid showbiz couple, and their fans will be absolutely shocked and devastated.”

The duo got engaged last August and were widely tipped to beOlivia Frances Brown with her fiancé James Nelson Joyce. the UK’s next golden couple.

Thanks to James starring alongside Sean Bean in the hit BBC drama This City Is Ours, bookies have even slashed odds on him becoming the next 007.

James previously joked to BBC Radio Merseyside: “I mean… double-O Scouse, I’m here for it.”

The  role earned James a Best Leading Actor nod at the 2025 TV BAFTAs, and he has just landed a lead role in a new blockbuster alongside Dominic West and Richard E. Grant.

According to insiders, the sudden split comes down to their hectic schedules, with the hard-working duo “struggling to make time in their diaries for each other.”

Olivia’s real-life heartbreak comes just as Corrie bosses have placed her at the centre of one of their biggest storylines of the year.

Her character is currently playing out a steamy, Single White Female-style plot, attempting to seduce her own sister’s husband.

Jodie was also named as one of five key suspects in the soap’s recent high-stakes ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery.
