Coronation Street star Calum Lill welcomes baby girl with beautiful name
Coronation Street’s Calum Lill has welcomed the arrival of his first baby.
The actor, who is 31, played the role of Joel Deering in the ITV soap from 2023-2024.
Calum proposed to his girlfriend Roberta in 2024, and shared the exciting news in 2025 that they’re set to become parents.
In the snaps uploaded to his Instagram, Calum and Roberta can be seen posing beside the Christmas tree, with Roberta’s pregnancy bump painted to look like a snowman.
The actor returned to his social media platform yesterday to share the news that Roberta has now given birth to a little girl.
Calum uploaded a number of pictures to the post, which gave a small insight into his first month as a new father.
In the caption, Calum confirms that their baby girl is called Primrose.
He wrote: ‘Welcome to the world Primrose Lill.
‘Here’s her first month in pictures. We’re very tired but happier than ever. Thank you to our family and friends for all your support. You’ve been amazing and we’re very grateful.
‘And to our beautiful baby girl, you are perfect.’
Calum has received a number of heartfelt messages from his friends in the industry following Primrose’s birth.
Channique Sterling-Brown, who played Dee-Dee Bailey in the show, wrote: ‘So proud of you guys and welcome gorgeous Primrose, pleasure to have been on the name committee’.
