Coronation Street legend gives cancer update as she praises ‘incredible’ women

Coronation Street actor Tracy Shaw has provided an update to fans after announcing her breast cancer diagnosis.
Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock, revealed she will undergo five months of chemotherapy following the discovery of lumps and lymph glands.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (29 April), she thanked supporters, specifically highlighting the ‘incredible’ women battling cancer who have contacted her.
She stated that she is learning from these women and acknowledged her previous lack of understanding about the disease.
