Although no official comment has been made by ITV at this point, Metro TV Soaps and Drama Editor Duncan Lindsay reports that Jimmy is set to be killed off in a shocking storyline that has yet to be filmed.

Lindsay explained that he had previously learned about the storyline development, but after another outlet leaked the news, he confirmed the dramatic twist.

A source close to the show told Metro, “It may prove controversial, but the jaw-dropping storyline will set in motion some massive consequences for many months to follow.”

Miles first arrived in Emmerdale on February 19, 2004, with the arrival of the ‘King’ family. The soap opera also introduced his father, Tom King (Ken Farrington), and his brothers, Matthew (Matt Healy), Max (Charlie Kemp), and Carl (Tom Lister).Emmerdale fans in tears as soap pays tribute to beloved character after ...

Jimmy is the last living member of his direct family, following the deaths of his father and brothers. One of Jimmy’s most iconic storylines was the jaw-dropping reveal that he was responsible for his father, Tom King’s, death.

Over the years, viewers have watched as Jimmy has transformed from a cold, hard businessman into a lovable and devoted husband to Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and father to his children, Elliot Windsor, Carl Holliday, and Angelica King.

Recently, actress Patsy Kensit was confirmed for a return as Sadie King, Jimmy’s first wife.  Little is known about what brings Sadie back to town; however, with Jimmy tipped for an exit, viewers will have to stay tuned to see if her return plays directly into his exit.

Kensit last appeared on the soap opera twenty years ago, exiting the series on September 21, 2006.
