‘Fire Country’ Wedding First Look: Jake and Violet Prepare to Say ‘I Do’ in Romantic Finale (Exclusive)
Fire Country is nearing its season 4 finale as Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) and Violet Mitchell’s (Nesta Cooper) long-awaited wedding is fast approaching.
PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the emotional ceremony with new photos from the upcoming episode.
In the images, Jake and Violet share an intimate moment at the altar, holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes. Violet wears an elegant silk gown and Jake keeps things classic in a tan suit as they prepare to say “I do.”
In an exclusive clip from the finale, the nerves and excitement leading up to the ceremony are on full display. “Just had to make an entrance, huh?” Camille Thurston (Natalie Zea) jokes to Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) as he arrives moments before the wedding begins.
“Well, when you’re a looker like I am,” Manny says before confirming to Chloe Mackenzie (Alona Tal) that Roberta Moreno (Manny’s ex-wife, played by actress Paola Núñez) is “doing well” and currently in recovery.
Before the chatter can continue, Sharon Leone (Diane Farr), the Cal Fire Division Chief and mother of Bode Leone (Max Thieriot), quickly shushes everyone and reminds them to focus. “It’s starting,” she says.
Standing beside Jake at the altar is his close friend Bode, who offers a reassuring pep talk ahead of the ceremony. “I told you we’d make it,” Bode says.
“Well, we’re not married yet,” Jake responds.
“That’s the easy part,” Bode assures him.
“Easy for you to say, my knees are shaking,” Jake admits as guests are asked to rise for the bride’s entrance.
The wedding marks a major milestone for Jake and Violet, whose romance has become one of the focal points of Fire Country’s later season 4 storylines. Their relationship began after Violet entered Jake’s life as an ambitious attorney working to pay off student loans, though things became complicated when she was revealed to be representing the company accused of poisoning the water supply at Three Rock.
Despite the tension, Jake ultimately realized he wanted a future with Violet. Earlier in season 4, after scrapping plans for an elaborate hot-air-balloon proposal, he instead proposed at the firehouse surrounded by friends and loved ones — a moment that Violet tearfully accepted.
The wedding comes amid the chaos of Fire Country’s season 4 finale, titled “Try Not to Drown,” which sees “a catastrophic dam failure unleashes historic floodwaters across Edgewater” before “Station 42 and Three Rock battle rising waters and dwindling resources,” per a logline.
