This Morning descends into chaos as Sharon Marshall shocks Sian and Craig with soap ‘incest’ twist
THIS Morning hosts were left stunned after Sharon Marshall appeared to reveal a soap storyline about a brother and sister sleeping together live on air.
The show’s resident soap expert sparked confusion during today’s show as she discussed the latest dramatic plot twists in soapland.
While explaining the EastEnders storyline to hosts Sian Welby and Craig Doyle, Sharon Marshall said: “Now, EastEnders, what a mess.
“So, Sharon’s back, she’s going to find out that her brother is sleeping with her sister. Messy, messy!”
The comment immediately left the hosts looking horrified and confused.
At which point Sian interjected: “Sorry, her brother is sleeping with her…”
“Yes!” Sharon replied, before rolling the clip without properly explaining the complicated situation.
The storyline centres around Zack Hudson and Vicki Fowler, with Zack being Sharon Watts’ biological half-brother and Vicki is Sharon’s adoptive half-sister through Dirty Den Watts.
Although the family connection sounds shocking, Zack and Vicki – who have had a fling despite Vicki being set to marry fiance Ross – are not actually related by blood.
As the confusion remained as the clip ended, Sharon quickly realised how her comments had sounded.

Attempting to clear things up, Sharon then explained: “It’s alright, it’s not a blood relation because Sharon was adopted by Dirty Den.
“So although her brother is sleeping with her sister, they aren’t actually biologically related.”
The hosts burst into laughter as the misunderstanding became clear, with Sharon looking relieved to have cleared things up.
Vicki and Zack had an affair earlier this year and ended up finding their way back to one another just weeks ago as they shared kiss at her hen do.
It came after the husband-and-wife-to-be were far from excited ahead of their big day, thanks to tension over the potential return of incel Joel.
Ross’ son previously assaulted Vicki after being radicalised into misogynistic and sexist views.
Vicki then gives Ross an ultimatum and told him that she would not marry him if Joel returned to live with them.
As Vicki’s do got underway at The Vic, Zack was roped into being the stripper, but it spelled trouble as Kathy Beale, who knows about their previous affair, spotted a connection forming between the pair.
In a bid to stop them getting any closer, Kathy set off a fire alarm, but the move proved to backfire.
Vicki and Zack were given the chance to run off outside and shared a very passionate kiss.
“It’s a tough moment for Vicki because she does care about Zack, but she also feels deeply let down by Ross,” actress Alice told Metro.
“That mix pushes her into something she immediately regrets.
“She does have feelings for Zack, but they’re tangled up in her hurt.
