AN EIGHTIES sitcom legend looked unrecognisable as he headed to a DJ gig 40 years after starring in an iconic BBC comedy – but can you guess who he is?

The actor, now 63, appeared in all episodes of the legendary show across all its seven series

The former TV star was spotted unloading his speakers and decks outside the Savoy Cinema in Stockport as he arrived for his DJ gig.

Dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and trainers he looked miles away from his role on the beloved BBC series.

He was last on TV screens in 2010 when he appeared in a couple of episodes of Coronation Street as Gavin, a disastrous internet date of Sean Tully.
