Charity’s life on the line after her baby is delivered
In Emmerdale spoilers for Tue, Apr 21 Charity finds her life hanging in the balance after giving birth to her baby girl. Will she pull through?
Meanwhile, Jacob finally stands up to Dr Todd, but has he done the right thing?

1. Triggered Mack panics
Having arrived at the hospital in the nick of time, disaster struck for Charity when the lift broke down. She, Mack and Ross are the only ones in there, she is in pain and her contractions are getting closer together. It’s clear she’s panicking, but she’s not the only one.
As Charity’s desperation mounts, she looks to Mack for support. However he is struggling. The confined space reminds him of the trauma from when he was locked in the bunker by John Sugden and it has triggered a panic attack.
As Ross calls for help over the intercom, can Mack pull it together to get Charity through this?

2. Sarah fears for her baby in Emmerdale spoilers
Sarah arrives at the hospital and is worried when there is no record of Charity on the system. She is in a state over what has happened to her gran and the baby.
Then she hears a midwife on the labour ward get an emergency call about a woman about to give birth in a lift and fears the worst.

3. Charity gives birth, but disaster strikes
Over the intercom, Ross and Mack are enlisted to deliver the baby in the lift. Ross steps up to the plate and successfully brings his daughter into the world.
However there is growing panic when he notices a pool of blood on the lift floor. Charity’s life hangs in the balance, will she pull through?

4. Jacob stands up to Dr Todd in Emmerdale spoilers
Unaware of the drama unfolding outside, Jacob is in his HR meeting. His anxiety grows as he talks about how Todd’s bullying has made him feel.
When he leaves the meeting, he’s horrified to see all the missed calls. But he’s then cornered by Todd who asks why he was meeting with HR.
Fed-up, Jacob finally stands up to her to her face. But will it help or make things worse?
