‘Fire Country’ Fans Are Sobbing Over Diane Farr’s Instagram Post with Billy Burke
Fire Country star Diane Farr surprised fans by reuniting with former TV husband Billy Burke on Instagram.
Fans went wild upon seeing the duo (who played Vince and Sharon Leone) appear together after so many months.
Billy’s last appearance on Fire Country was in the season 3 finale, which aired in April 2025.
Fire Country fans, Vince and Sharon Leone have reunited. Well, at least in real life.
It’s been a while since viewers last saw Billy Burke on the CBS drama, given how his character, Vince, got killed off by way of a tragic fire at the beginning of season 4. While Fire Country has managed to move on without him, folks are still feeling the aftermath of no longer seeing Billy pop up on their screens every week.
Well, it looks like we know what Billy has been up to thanks to an unexpected update from his TV wife, Diane Farr. She shared that the two had reunited for dinner in early April—and she made sure to share photos of their get-together alongside Billy’s girlfriend, Cheyenne Carson.
“My old man is looking good,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram on April 9. “Might have something to do with his IRL lady. 🧡🔥.”

Given how this is one of the few times we’ve seen Billy since he left Fire Country, fans were elated. What’s more, they had to voice just how much they’re feeling his absence when they tune in for new episodes every Friday night.

“The show isn’t the same without him 😢😢,” one person wrote in the comments. “Okay this is the reunion we all needed to see!” another exclaimed. “Missed seeing him on Fire Country y’all was so great together ❤️❤️😢😢,” a different follower added.
Even though Billy is no longer featured on Fire Country, it’s not like we don’t still get to know the aftermath of Vince’s death. In fact, Sharon and Vince’s son Bode (Max Thieriot) continues to battle his feelings about his dad’s passing, to the point of being a support to the mom of the kid who potentially started the fire in the first place. And judging from what the April 17 promo is like, we’ll still be feeling the twinges of Billy’s presence long after his exit.
